"You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake, you are the same organic decaying matter as everything else." It is a film about cynical men who are trying to find themselves in the midst of being tortured by their stagnant, boring cubicle jobs and false goals. Their answer is to start a fight club where they can finally feel like real men.
I did some research on the movie and found that not only does it speak against our consumerist culture, but it also gives feminists something to think about. Let me quote Jennifer Kesler from TheHathorLegacy.com :
"Advertising does a lot worse than keep us chasing crap we don’t need so that we’re too busy to actually achieve anything that might overturn the powermongers at the top of the food chain. It has been pandering to the weakest instincts in young men and boys for a couple of generations now. 18-25 year old white boys don’t want to see strong women? Solution: don’t put a strong woman in your movie! For heaven’s sake, don’t show them that a woman can be strong and traditionally 'feminine'."
This speaks to me because I've been dealing with that same guy who comes into my chatroom and seems to believe that women are truly weak. Somehow it turns him on to talk to a woman as if she is just a good fuck. He thinks the woman will chase after him, and he is completely wrong. How much can you make as a webcam model?

The last day in the life of a stoner
Well, I'm not a complete pothead, but lately I've been under the influence because it's just so much easier for me to talk to people that way. I know I'm not the only one who does this. Got my Halloween costumes!
I got my Halloween costume in the mail today. Tried it on and it looked awesome! It's a perfect tight fit, almost too small but that's good for this job. It's going to be my first sexy Halloween. Who will read this?

Having a boyfriend with a humongously large...
80% of all guys on MFC will ask you if you have a boyfriend. 100% of them will ask how big his cucumber is. When I started out I read a lot of advice for cam girls, and it said to tell everyone you are single. I wonder if this is true. I must say I am ridiculously a hopeless romantic, and I secretly fall in love with a lot of my MFC friends! But that secret will never be revealed to them. Sometimes I sacrifice a day of work for just chatting with people - it's a habit I'm trying to end. It seems the ones who make a lot of money with this are the ones who don't let friendships get in the way with the reality of the job. It's the ones who are constantly teasing, stripping, and touching. They are always on their guard, making sure they are getting someone to tip. I haven't gotten to this point yet because I've been so easy going. The truth is, it can be a very tiresome job that requires lots of energy. Need a little privacy!
The worst thing about a job like this is having random house visitors. My landlord tells me she will come and pick up the rent money any time between 10 am - 1 pm, and she asks me if I'll be home then. Well, yes I'll be home, but the real question is will I be in the middle of a private session seconds away from relief when the doorbell rings? Will I have to excuse myself for a minute or thirty to put up with some polite chit chat?

Would you date a cam girl?
